Samsung Galaxy S5

The iPhone 6 rumor mill is without a doubt hot right now, but so is the Galaxy S5, arguably Apple’s biggest smartphone competitor. It is no question that the Galaxy S4 was disappointing to a lot of people, as such rumor has it that Samsung is working on a massive update for the Galaxy S5.
According to Eldar Murtazin, who is a person known to have inside information about mobile companies has recently given us a glimpse into the proposed specs of the Galaxy S5 so we can see just how big of an update it really will be.

He has said that the Galaxy S5 will come with a 5.24 inch Super AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and an extraordinary pixel density of 560 ppi. The handset will have an Exynos 6 or Snapdragon 805 processor depending on the market, and a 3GB RAM, with 32/64GB storage options.
Pretty impressive no?
As for the camera it is expected to come with a 16MP rear-camera in the S5, which is up 3 MP from the 13MP camera in the Galaxy S4. It was also reported that it will come with a 3200 mAh battery. To put that in perspective the iPhone 5s has a 1560 mAh battery.
The deal breaker will of course be whether it will come with plastic or aluminum casing.
All will be revealed on February 24th at Samsung’s “Unpacked 5″ media event in Barcelona.
